MEET KIRSTY

Biography

I have been working with children and their families for two decades. After spending 10 years in the classroom, I became a high school counselor. That led me to pursing professional counseling credentialing, and now, I work directly with students in schools and with families in private practice.

I am a parent myself, and parenting is not an exact science. Caring for a child brings up all kinds of stressors and conflicts. Some arise from our own past, some are of our own making, and some are caused by things done to us or our kids.

Navigating the legal system while caring for children is a challenge, also. Working with a therapist or parenting facilitator creates clarity in confusing situations and speeds up problem-solving in both parenting and family court.
